Motivation for artists to contribute

Recently, the Prime Minister's letter of commendation to singer Duc Phuc after he won an international music award in Russia has become a topic of special public interest. In a letter to singer Duc Phuc and music lovers, the Prime Minister wrote: "We are very pleased to receive the news that singer Duc Phuc - representing Vietnam - has just won the championship at the Intervision 2025 International Music Competition - a prestigious music event, gathering many of the world's top talents in Moscow, the Russian Federation."

On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister warmly congratulated and commended the efforts and outstanding achievements of singer Duc Phuc with his powerful voice and eye-catching performance, which breathed life into the song Phu Dong Thien Vuong, inspired by the poem Tre Viet Nam, telling the story of the strength of solidarity, indomitable spirit and aspiration to rise of the Vietnamese people. "This achievement is not only a great honor for singer Duc Phuc personally but also a common pride of contemporary music and Vietnamese culture," the Prime Minister affirmed.

In fact, the Party and State's attention to artists has been shown throughout many periods. Since the war, artists have been motivated and encouraged to create works that promote the fighting spirit of the people. Many artists have been awarded noble titles such as People's Artist, Meritorious Artist, Ho Chi Minh Prize, and State Prize for Literature and Arts, demonstrating respect for their contributions to the country.
