Dong Nai reclaims more land from Dong Nai Rubber Company

Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has just issued an additional decision to reclaim nearly 130,000m2 of land from Dong Nai Rubber Corporation Limited Company in Bau Can and Tan Hiep communes (Long Thanh district), to serve the socio -economic development goals as prescribed in Article 181 of the 2024 Land Law.

According to Decision No. 1593/QD-UBND signed by Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is responsible for announcing the decision to reclaim land to the unit whose land is being reclaimed and related organizations and individuals. At the same time, it directs the Provincial Land Registration Office to update and correct cadastral records, land database, and organize boundary marking to hand over the land to the Long Thanh District People's Committee for management and to develop a land use plan.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the authorities of Bau Can and Tan Hiep communes to transfer the revocation decision to Dong Nai Rubber Company. In case the unit does not receive or is absent, a record must be made and posted publicly at the commune People's Committee headquarters and community gathering places.

Since the beginning of 2025, Dong Nai province has continuously issued decisions to reclaim land from Dong Nai Rubber Company to implement key projects. Previously, in April 2024, the province also decided to reclaim more than 5,000 hectares of land in Binh An commune (Long Thanh district), Xuan Que commune and Song Nhan commune (Cam My district), for the same reason as stipulated in Article 181 of the 2024 Land Law on land managed by state-owned agricultural and forestry enterprises.

In May 2025, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued three consecutive large land reclamation decisions related to Dong Nai Rubber Company: Decision No. 1503/QD-UBND dated May 9, 2025: reclamation of more than 252,000m² of land in Xuan My commune, Cam My district; Decision No. 1501/QD-UBND dated May 9, 2025: reclamation of more than 260,800m² of land in Thua Duc, Xuan Que, Xuan Duong communes, Long Giao town (Cam My district); Decision No. 1498/QD-UBND dated May 9, 2025: reclamation of nearly 139,000m² of land in Long An, Long Duc communes (Long Thanh district) and Tam Phuoc ward (Bien Hoa city).

All reclamation decisions are made on the basis of approved land use plans, to ensure clean land funds for infrastructure development projects, industrial parks and urban areas in the province.
