In its second week of official release, Doraemon: Nobita and the Castle Under the Sea maintained its number one position at the box office across all three metrics: number of screenings, number of tickets sold, and revenue. Although the number of screenings decreased compared to the initial release period, the film still averaged nearly 4,000 screenings per day.

According to data from the independent box office website Box Office Vietnam, as of the morning of June 1st, the film has grossed nearly 150 billion VND. With the current growth rate, the film could easily surpass the 200 billion VND mark.
This past week, foreign films continued to dominate the box office. Proof of this is The Haunted Temple 5 , which rose to second place with a total revenue of nearly 12 billion VND.
"Borrowed Shells ," a film marking the return of director Dinh Tuan Vu and featuring a cast including Quoc Truong, Tieu Vy, Anh Pham, Yen Dan, Luong Gia Huy, Nguyen Van Chung, etc., ranked 3rd in its first three days of early screenings with a total revenue of over 7.5 billion VND. The film will officially premiere on June 5th, but with the current growth rate, it will be difficult for it to achieve explosive box office success.

Goodbye Gohan continues to maintain its stable position at number 4 on the box office charts. The Thai film has now grossed over 38 billion baht.
This past week, three different horror films were released, ranking in the following positions, but their box office revenue wasn't particularly explosive.
Ba Trợn had total revenue of nearly 2 billion VND. Kumanthong, the guiding demon, achieved nearly 1.3 billion VND, while Khách had revenue of nearly 1.1 billion VND.
This week, in addition to the official premiere of "The Borrowed Shell," another Vietnamese film, " The Ghost," is also hitting theaters. Directed by Phan Bá Hỷ, the film features a cast of talented actors including Lê Khánh, Tín Nguyễn, Avin Lu, Meritorious Artist Hạnh Thúy, Nguyễn Sỹ Hậu, Gi A Nguyễn, and Leona Khánh Tiên.

In addition, the following foreign films are scheduled to premiere this week: What's Your Name, He-man and the Space Warriors, The Assassination Classroom: Our Hour, The Nun, Marsupilami, The Amazing Digital Circus: Final Chapter ...
