Setting fire to oil depots in Rostov.

The offensive also targeted the Kirov region, about 1,500 kilometers northeast of the border with Ukraine, authorities said on Wednesday.

"There were no casualties," Rostov region governor Vasily Golubev said on the Telegram messaging app regarding the attack in the Kamensky district. "Firefighters are extinguishing the fire."

The Russian Defense Ministry said Russian air defense units destroyed four drones over the area overnight, but made no mention of the attack on the oil depot.

Earlier, the Baza Telegram channel, which has close ties to Russian security agencies, reported that three or four tanks caught fire at the Kamensky oil depot after two drones landed in the area.

Videos posted on Russian social media show what appears to be large tanks engulfed in flames at night. A fuel depot in the Kamensky district was also attacked in early August.

The attack on Wednesday occurred while fuel tanks were still burning at another oil depot in the Proletarsk district of Rostov, about 10 days after the Ukrainian offensive.

In another development, regional governor Alexander Sokolov said drones attacked a petroleum product storage facility on Wednesday in the town of Kotelnich in Russia's Kirov region.

Sokolov said the attack caused no casualties or fires at the warehouse. He said two drones were shot down, while three others crashed into the warehouse area, catching fire but were quickly extinguished. The fire did not spread to the fuel storage areas.

Additionally, Alexander Gusev, the governor of Voronezh, which borders Ukraine, said that debris from a Ukrainian drone launched into the area caused fires "near explosive devices," but there were no explosions.

Governor Gusev said on Telegram that the fire had been extinguished and residents were returning home to the two settlements from which they had been evacuated. The Russian Ministry of Defense said eight attack drones had been destroyed in the Voronezh region.
