Vietnam Railways opens train ticket sales for April 30 and May 1 holidays

This year, the April 30 and May 1 holidays are long (5 days), so the demand for train travel before and after the holidays is higher than usual. Therefore, the Railway industry opens ticket sales for trains running regularly during this time to serve the travel needs of the people. Accordingly, tickets will be on sale from now until May 4, 2025.

Specifically, on the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City railway route, tickets are on sale for trains SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8.

For the Hanoi - Da Nang route, SE19/SE20 train tickets are on sale, for the Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang route, SE21/22 train tickets are on sale, for the Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang route, SNT1/2 train tickets are on sale, for the Ho Chi Minh City - Phan Thiet route, SPT1/2 train tickets are on sale on weekends (every week) and during peak periods of April 30 and May 1.

During this peak season, the Railway Industry still applies many discount programs for customers such as discounts for social policy beneficiaries, students, union members, the elderly, children, passengers with customer cards, when passengers buy round-trip tickets, they get a 5% discount on the return ticket price for passengers buying individual tickets and a 7% discount on the return ticket price for groups of 20 people or more.

In addition, based on the travel needs of passengers during the holidays, the Railway industry will organize additional passenger trains to provinces with a large number of tourists , especially routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Quang Ngai; and Hanoi to Vinh, Dong Hoi, Da Nang and vice versa.
