By the end of January 2025, the Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh ( Cao Bang ) Expressway Construction Investment Project had disbursed VND 1,775 billion/VND 1,934 billion, reaching 91.38% of the 2024 capital plan.
Specifically, in 2024, over 1,934 billion VND will be assigned, of which the central budget is over 674 billion VND; the local budget is 1,260 billion VND. The total capital plan assigned in 2025 is over 2,372 billion VND, of which the central budget allocates 1,594 billion VND; the local budget is 778 billion VND.
By the end of January, the project had disbursed VND 1,775 billion out of VND 1,934 billion of allocated funds, reaching 91.38% of the 2024 capital plan. The cumulative disbursement of state capital to support construction of works and infrastructure systems reached over VND 894 billion. The value of disbursement for site clearance was over VND 881 billion.
In the implementation of construction along the entire route, contractors are actively and urgently working with the spirit of "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain", "3 shifts, 4 teams" to speed up the project progress with 36 construction sites for roads, bridges, culverts, and tunnels. The total output of the packages to date is about 1,479 billion VND, reaching 14.88% of the contract value. In particular, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty in 2025, contractors will maintain 19 construction sites, over 230 workers, engineers and 200 machines and equipment on the construction site.
Regarding resettlement, Cao Bang and Lang Son provinces built 6 areas, and basically completed 1 resettlement area in Thach An district.
Along with the implementation of phase 1 of the project, the province directed agencies and units to prepare conditions to immediately invest in phase 2 of the project to Tra Linh with 4 complete lanes; proactively research and establish survey teams for 2 expressways connecting Dong Dang - Tra Linh to Ta Lung border gate and Cao Bang city, creating a synchronous and interconnected traffic network, promoting investment efficiency in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister .
