The exhibition space of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) attracted a large number of visitors right from the beginning. Here, EVN introduced a series of typical power project models, modern technology products and outstanding achievements during 71 years of formation and development. Each model and image on display showed a strong mark of innovation, reflecting the journey of continuous efforts to bring electricity to all regions of the country and contribute to the sustainable development of the country.
The highlight is the National Power System Model – the center of the exhibition space, simulating Vietnam’s power system by 2025 with a total capacity of more than 88,400 MW, ranking Vietnam 23rd in the world and leading in Southeast Asia in terms of power source scale. The model also introduces power plants of EVN and non-EVN owners across the three regions of the country.
Introducing to visitors, Mr. Trinh Mai Phuong, Head of Communications and Corporate Culture, EVN said that the special highlight is the 500kV North-South transmission line system, the "backbone" of national power transmission, with 3 completed circuits, of which the Quang Trach - Pho Noi circuit 3 project is considered an "unprecedented miracle" of the Electricity industry due to the lightning-fast construction progress in more than 6 months.
Mr. Chu Van Ngo, 70 years old, from Tay Phuong commune (Hanoi), shared his feelings after visiting the exhibition: "Every booth is meticulously invested, beautiful, clearly showing the development process of businesses and localities. In particular, EVN's booth left me with a special impression with its intuitive and vivid sand table model. The staff here guided enthusiastically, presented clearly, helping viewers understand more about the electricity industry as well as the role of vital power lines in the national economy ."
Mr. Ngo also expressed his interest in the virtual reality (VR) experience area using BIM technology introduced by Power Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2). "The experience is very modern and vivid, making me clearly feel the transformation of the electricity industry in the digital age," he said.
At the Dien Bien province experience space, visitors could not hide their excitement when taking photos with the motorbike taxi – a familiar image associated with the history of the Dien Bien Phu campaign. Many people were eager to try the 3D battlefield game and the virtual interactive space recreating the historical battle scene, bringing a vivid experience as if they were in the middle of the battlefield of the past.
Ms. Cao Thi Nu, representative of Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum, shared: "At this exhibition, we bring the most typical images of Dien Bien, from the cultural space, the Ban flower - the symbolic flower, to the model of the Dien Bien Phu Victory monument. The experience area is elaborately decorated, combined with bamboo dance performances, creating a space rich in identity and full of vitality".
Equally special, the booth of Dong Thap province impressed with its space imbued with the essence of the West. In addition to introducing famous landmarks and typical images of the homeland of pink lotus, the artists also performed traditional music right at the booth. The rustic, deep melody and sweet lyrics attracted many visitors to stop and enjoy and capture memorable moments.
At the Hanoi Traditional and Creative Space 2025, there are 6 main exhibition areas, recreating the multi-dimensional development journey of Hanoi - from the depth of heritage to modern technological advances. "The Redness of Hanoi" displays handicraft products such as ceramics, lacquer, mother-of-pearl inlay, bamboo and rattan weaving. The space takes the image of One Pillar Pagoda and Khue Van Cac as highlights, evoking the thousand-year-old cultural roots. "The Quintessence of Craft Streets" is where artisans from famous craft villages directly perform and share craft stories, helping the public understand more about the durability and quintessence preserved through many generations.
“Pioneering Technology” introduces high-tech products, artificial intelligence solutions, digital transformation applications in management and serving urban life, affirming the aspiration to turn Hanoi into a center of innovation.
“Hanoi Gifts” recreates typical culinary flavors such as Com Lang Vong, Uoc Le ham, Bach Diep lotus tea… which are the memories and soul of the Capital.
“The source of culture” offers traditional cultural experiences: calligraphy, clay figurines, conical hats, with the symbol of Saint Giong, Quan Chuong Gate, and Dong Xuan Market.
“Village in the City” recreates the space of a Northern countryside village in the heart of the city, with communal house yard, moss-covered tiled roofs, bonsai art and performances of Cheo, Ca Tru, Tuong and Ao Dai.
According to a representative of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, the construction of this space aims to promote cultural achievements, tourism and creative industries - the pillars associated with the sustainable growth of the capital. The highlight lies in the harmonious combination of traditional heritage and modern technology, creating a unique identity for Hanoi in the process of international integration.
At the exhibition area of the Ministry of Public Security, the atmosphere is always bustling with a large number of visitors, especially families and children. The indoor display booth of the Ministry of Public Security attracts attention with many artifacts, costumes and special equipment. Major Nguyen Van Tuan, Mobile Police Command, said: "There are many visitors, the atmosphere is joyful and exciting. Many children are interested in the costumes of the Mobile Police force, Special Police... so they line up to take souvenir photos in large numbers".
Although the exhibits are clearly labeled, whenever a visitor has a question, the officers and soldiers at the booth enthusiastically explain and introduce in more detail the functions of each set of clothes and equipment of the Mobile Police and Special Police forces.
Lieutenant Colonel Lai Quy Trung, Deputy Director of the People's Public Security Museum, said that the Ministry of Public Security participated in the exhibition with the theme "People's Public Security - 80 years for National Security, for the happiness of the people. The outdoor area displays combat equipment and vehicles of the People's Public Security force, information and document booths; the Vietnam People's Public Security Glory Museum; a multimedia cinema room; a physical training experience area... From the first day of the opening until August 29, a lot of people came to visit.
Major Diep Xuan Hai, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Hanoi City Police, said that the fire prevention and rescue experience activity at the Fire Prevention and Rescue Station has attracted a large number of people and tourists to participate. Here, people and tourists can watch images and videos instructing fire prevention and safety measures..., scan QR codes, and distribute leaflets with rich, concise, and easy-to-understand content about fire and explosion protection and prevention measures for families, establishments, agencies, and businesses.
At the exhibition area, visitors can learn about the features and functions of some modern and specialized fire protection equipment such as: Fire trucks; rescue vehicles, ladder trucks; specialized firefighting suits that are resistant to high temperatures, abrasion, and water, protecting the safety of officers and soldiers when participating in firefighting and rescue; RADA devices to detect underwater victims using the latest ultrasound technology and artificial intelligence to identify underwater bodies; types of fire extinguishers and DRAGER isolation gas masks.
This is an important device that officers and soldiers use when participating in fire fighting and rescue to protect their eyes, face and respiratory system in environments with toxic smoke, toxic gas, lack of oxygen...; a portable cutting device using batteries, a specialized demolition device for cutting or separating, including a multi-purpose blade (cutting, separating) and a battery used to cut steel structures in collapsed buildings. This is an indispensable tool in rescuing people at collapsed buildings, or trapped in vehicles... reducing operating time, bringing more hope to victims.
In addition, there are equipment sets serving rescue in confined spaces including: Rescue rope; rope protector; gloves; helmet; rescue belt (full body); rope clamp for legs; fixed locking device on the rope; rope belaying and releasing device; rope ring; anchor rope; soft ambulance stretcher; tripod...
“In particular, visitors are instructed and practiced by officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police on how to use portable fire extinguishers to extinguish fires caused by gas leaks…”, said Major Diep Xuan Hai.
