Closing ceremony of the 2025 International Police Volleyball Tournament

On the afternoon of August 30, the final match of the 2025 International Police Volleyball Tournament, organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security in coordination with relevant agencies, took place dramatically between the Public Security Team and the Indonesian Police Team at the National Defense Sports Stadium II, Military Region 7 (Ho Chi Minh City).

In this year’s tournament, the participating volleyball teams gave the audience quality and exciting matches with beautiful and intense moves. The fans also gave their all in the stands to support the players in every move.

This is also a sporting event to improve professional skills and competitive spirit, train physical strength for the Police - Army forces, and at the same time contribute to building a beautiful image of the People's Public Security and the Vietnam People's Army in the hearts of international audiences and friends, but no less magnificent and colorful than the regional countries.

The fans were on fire in the stands to give the players energy in every play.

Starting with an unconvincing performance, the CAND Team played better and better to reach the Final, especially the emotional comeback against the Cambodian Ministry of Interior Team in the semi-finals. Although down 2-0, Coach Duong Tan Vinh and his team showed their fighting spirit and never gave up to win 3-4 in a thrilling match.

Stopped at the semi-finals, but the Cambodian Ministry of Interior team showed its best in this tournament. This team provided the core players for the Cambodian team to win the Bronze Medal at the 31st SEA Games, then the 32nd SEA Games runner-up title... The Cambodian Ministry of Interior volleyball team won the 2023 World Police Volleyball Championship held in Canada.

The Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City Police and representatives of the Indonesian Consulate presented the Championship (Indonesian Police Team), Second Prize (CAND Team) and Third Prize (Army Team) awards.

In this year's tournament, this team won all the group stage matches and only unfortunately stopped in the semi-finals against the host team CAND.

The Indonesian Police team is even more impressive. They have many national team players in their squad. Remarkably, the Indonesian police team won all their matches en route to the final.

In the Final, despite showing clear progress and making great efforts, the Public Security Team could not overcome the Indonesian Police Team. The match ended with a score of 3-1. Thereby, the Indonesian Police Team won the Championship of this year's tournament. Before that, the 3rd-4th place match between the two teams: Ministry of Interior of Cambodia - Army took place with great tension with the victory leaning towards the Army team...

This year's tournament with 6 participating teams, gathered more than 150 athletes from 4 Southeast Asian countries, competing in 11 matches in 5 consecutive days, quality guest teams raised the level of the tournament to contribute beautiful football to the audience.

Participating teams include: Three teams of Vietnam - CAND; Army; Hanoi; Lao Ministry of Public Security Team; Cambodian Ministry of Interior Team; Indonesian Police Team. The prize structure of the tournament includes: First Prize: Cup, Gold Medal and bonus of 10,000 USD. Second Prize: Silver Medal, bonus of 8,000 USD. Third Prize: Bronze Medal, bonus of 5,000 USD. Style Prize: bonus of 3,000 USD. Outstanding individual prize: 300 USD/person.

The 2025 International Police Volleyball Festival still leaves sweet echoes, looking forward to seeing the teams and fans again next season.
