“Tay Ninh – The Legend Continues”: An Art Night Paying Tribute to History, Awakening National Pride

In order to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), on the evening of August 30, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh organized the art program "Tay Ninh - The Legend Continues" at the Vam Co Cai Luong Art Troupe Theater. Attending the event were Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Vo Tran Tuan Thanh, former leaders of Long An province (old) through the periods and many people.

Speaking at the program, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh province Nguyen Thanh Thanh emphasized: “Over the past 80 years, under the leadership of the Party, our country has overcome countless difficulties and challenges to achieve many great achievements. Our country has never had such a foundation, economic potential, position and international prestige as today. In that heroic tradition, the Party Committee, army and people of Tay Ninh have constantly innovated, created, and strived to build a rich, dynamic, and comprehensively developed homeland, a friendly and attractive destination for investors and domestic and foreign tourists”.

The art program with the theme “Tay Ninh – The Legend Continues” is a profound gratitude to those who have fallen for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. This is also an epic of pride in the belief in total victory, striving to rise up to integrate, contributing to the development of Tay Ninh province’s culture and art, from a revolutionary base to a bright spot in historical tourism, spiritual tourism, eco-tourism and a dynamic economic center of the land of the East-West harmony of the South.

With the performances of the singers and artists, the audience seemed to relive the heroic historical moments of the past, and appreciated the value of independence and freedom even more. Through that, the image of Tay Ninh today clearly appeared - a land of "Loyalty, Resilience", rich in affection, constantly dynamic, creative and striving to develop.

The art program “Tay Ninh – The Legend Continues” was elaborately staged with many unique songs, traditional music, and reformed opera performances, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the spirit of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. In addition, the performances also honored the revolutionary tradition, the beauty of the homeland, and the people of Tay Ninh today – both heroic and resilient in history, and dynamic and rich in identity in the integration period.

The program featured People's Artist Thanh Tuan, People's Artist Ho Ngoc Trinh, Meritorious Artist Van Khanh, Meritorious Artist Ngoc Doi, along with singers Nam Cuong, Tong Hao Nhien, Dong Quan... bringing the audience many special performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, arousing love for the homeland and country.

In the program, artists of the Vam Co Cai Luong Art Troupe brought an excerpt of the Cai Luong opera "The Legend of Ba Den Mountain" (Huyen Trinh Nu), with the participation of Meritorious Artist Vuong Tuan, Artist Thu My, Vo Hoang Du, Quynh Nhi, Trong Tanh. The performance not only recreated the legend of "Ba Den" associated with the land of Tay Ninh but also left many deep emotions in the hearts of the audience.
