Tourism activities in the province during the April 30th - May 1st holiday this year continued to be quite vibrant due to many favorable factors such as good weather and improved transportation. The Ham Tien and Mui Ne - Phan Thiet areas remained popular destinations for tourists, offering opportunities for relaxation, beach activities, and entertainment. The extended holiday (5 days), coupled with the current convenient transportation system, further solidified Binh Thuan's status as an ideal destination.

Most tourism businesses and service providers in the province's key tourist areas have actively and thoroughly prepared to serve tourists. In particular, they have focused on improving service quality, leaving a positive impression on visitors.

In addition, numerous attractive cultural and sporting events were organized to draw tourists, such as water sports (kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing, parasailing, jet skiing), the Ca Ty River boat racing festival, 3D mapping and art performances, kite festivals, and the unique Summer Fest 2025 series of events with many attractive programs such as: Summer Music Fest, artistic fireworks, water festival, fashion show… which attracted a large number of tourists to participate in entertainment during the holiday.

According to information from tourism accommodation businesses, during the April 30th - May 1st holiday this year, Binh Thuan province is expected to welcome approximately 228,000 visitors. Average occupancy rates during peak days from April 30th to May 3rd are estimated at around 75-95%, generating an estimated revenue of 450 billion VND. In particular, the province is expected to see a high concentration of tourists from April 30th to May 2nd (1-2 star hotels and equivalent achieving occupancy rates of around 70-80%, and 3-5 star resorts and equivalent reaching approximately 90-95%).

While the mainland offers relaxing getaways, Phu Quy Island is a destination for unique experiences. At its most beautiful time of year, Phu Quy enjoys favorable weather, calm winds, and clear blue seas, making it ideal for tourists from near and far to visit and explore.

Inland waterway transportation between Phan Thiet and Phu Quy currently has 3 high-speed passenger vessels and 8 cargo ships, basically meeting the needs for travel and goods transportation between the mainland and the island. Phu Quy Island has become an attractive beach and island destination nationwide in recent years. During the recent April 30th - May 4th holiday, Phu Quy welcomed nearly 10,000 tourists. Occupancy rates at accommodation facilities reached over 90%. Hotels and guesthouses along the coast of Tam Thanh, Ngu Phung, and Long Hai communes were fully booked by tourists a month in advance.
