According to this unit, the tourism industry will reap significant benefits thanks to the estimated number of international visitors to Ho Chi Minh City during the Lunar New Year 2025, reaching approximately 87,358, an increase of 16.5% compared to the same period in 2024 (75,000 in 2024). The number of visitors to tourist areas, attractions, entertainment venues, and service establishments is estimated at around 2,100,000, an increase of 16.7% compared to the same period in 2024 (1,800,000 in 2024).

The number of guests staying at accommodation establishments is estimated at approximately 150,000, an 11% increase compared to the same period in 2024 (135,000 in 2024). Occupancy rates are estimated at approximately 65%, a 44.4% increase compared to the same period in 2024 (45% in 2024).
According to preliminary reports from travel businesses, preparations to serve tourists began in the last months of 2024. Businesses have launched many new tourism products with competitive prices and various preferential policies.
