Currently, Vietnamese EdTech (educational technology) startups have integrated "AI native tutors" into their training programs, providing personalized English practice for learners. Therefore, the addition of proven experience in IELTS training by The IELTS Workshop is expected to create differentiated and high-quality English training programs compared to similar "AI tutor" products on the market.

The strategic investment partnership in The IELTS Workshop will help combine Vuihoc’s strengths in technology and AI with The IELTS Workshop’s experience and programs ,” added Vuihoc CEO Do Ngoc Lam.

With Vuihoc's IELTS learning product, this AI tutor will score, comment on, and correct errors in all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In addition, students will significantly increase their learning efficiency by practicing in a virtual Speaking and Writing room. This virtual technology space helps learners practice both their skills and confidence to prepare for the actual exam.

Previously, in April 2024, Vuihoc was the only representative from Southeast Asia to be named in TIME magazine's (USA) ranking of "Rising Stars" in the global EdTech market in 2024. After 5 years of development, this EdTech platform has more than 300,000 students enrolled and over 2,500,000 app downloads.

Implementing AI is very expensive . In Vietnam, comprehensive AI solutions are mainly deployed in large corporations, banks, and financial companies, as it is a very costly field.
