Located next to National Highway 9 in Cam Lo commune, this processing workshop belongs to the couple Tran Huu Duy and Truong Thi Hang. Mr. Duy had previously worked abroad under a labor contract, but returned home in 2020 due to health reasons. After recovering from his illness, he realized that the local area had an abundant labor force, but the lack of production facilities forced many people to struggle to find work far from home.

With 7 years of experience working in South Korea in automotive machining, and having accumulated some capital and expertise, Duy decided to research and collaborate with a company specializing in electronic component manufacturing to open a facility for machining inductors. In March 2025, DH New Co., Ltd. was established in Tan Xuan 1 village, Cam Lo commune, pioneering the introduction of a new profession to local workers.
Mr. Tran Huu Duy, the company director, shared: "The work isn't difficult, but it requires meticulousness and diligence to minimize product defects. Here, workers are paid based on output, allowing for flexible scheduling. Those with young children can take time off early to pick them up; those wanting to increase their income can work overtime. From the beginning, when they were unfamiliar with the job, all 45 employees have now become proficient. On average, workers produce over 1,000 products per day, according to partner orders. Workers earn approximately 5-11 million VND per month, depending on their skill level."
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Ly, from Tan Xuan 1 village, said that she had worked as a factory worker in many provinces and cities across the country, but living far from home meant her income was insufficient to cover expenses. Returning home for Tet (Lunar New Year) in early 2026, Ms. Ly researched and applied for a job at the company.
"I find this job quite suitable for me. Especially since I get to work near home, which allows me to take care of my family and be close to my parents, so it's very convenient and comfortable. Living expenses are much cheaper in the countryside than in the city, so I've started to save money," Ms. Ly shared.
The rapid development of technology and the ever-increasing demand for electronic products are creating great opportunities for component manufacturing businesses. Therefore, there is no shortage of work in the electronic component manufacturing industry. Duy said that his partner has agreed to nearly double the order quantity. As a result, the company needs to expand its factory, invest in machinery and equipment, and recruit more workers.
"Currently, the company's financial capacity is limited, so we hope that the local government and relevant agencies will pay attention and create conditions to access preferential capital sources for job creation to expand production facilities, meet the order needs of partners, develop our family economy , and at the same time create more jobs for local workers," Duy said.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Head of Tan Xuan 1 village, Cam Lo commune, said: “Mr. Tran Huu Duy is a dynamic young man who dares to think and act, boldly bringing a new profession to the locality. In particular, recently, some local people who had gone to work far from home have returned to reunite with their families thanks to suitable jobs and stable income at Mr. Duy and his wife's processing workshop, which has made them very happy. We hope that this model will develop further in the future.”
According to Mr. Le Anh Chuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cam Lo commune, DH New Co., Ltd. has created jobs and increased income for many young workers in the area, eliminating the need for them to work far from home. Having a technology equipment processing workshop located in the area has helped workers access new professions, contributing to the shift of a portion of the workforce from agriculture to industry, in line with the commune's development orientation.
"This is an important prerequisite in the process of rural modernization, building new rural areas, and promoting sustainable local economic development. Therefore, the local government will accompany and support businesses in overcoming difficulties to expand production scale," Mr. Chuong said.
