The African Cultural Festival in Wiesbaden, Germany, offered locals and visitors the opportunity to explore unique aspects of African culture through a variety of experiential activities. At the event, visitors could enjoy traditional dishes from many African countries, learn about and purchase handicrafts and jewelry reflecting the rich local culture.

One of the most popular activities is the henna painting experience – a form of body art originating from North Africa and South Asia. In addition, the festival features many unique folk music and dance performances, along with traditional drumming instruction sessions. These activities help attendees gain a deeper understanding of the richness, diversity, and unique cultural identity of African cultures.
The event was organized by Pamojah – a non-profit cultural association of the African American and German communities. Through the festival, the organizers hoped to create a space for interaction and connection between communities, while also contributing to promoting the unique cultural values of Africa to the public.
