Specifically, Edward Yang once shared about having "lost $150 million" in the hint videos on the second season of "The Masked Singer," shocking both the advisory panel and the judges due to the enormous amount of money.

However, Edward Duong later shared that the 150 million figure actually represents the 150 million views he personally deleted from his YouTube channel by pressing the delete button on three popular cover videos. Those three cover videos were "Tình đơn phương" (with nearly 100 million views), "Mưa trên cuộc tình" (over 30 million views), and "Cuộc tình trong cơn mưa" (over 30 million views).

Edward Duong said: "Deleting these three videos myself left me with a lot of regret. I'm a rather nostalgic person, so when I started this project, I only had one thought: to evoke a beautiful period of time, not only for me but for many Vietnamese music lovers."

However, in return for that desire, Duong received quite a lot of negativity, and that severely affected her morale and reputation. Therefore, Duong's decision to abandon these three songs is also a way for her to protect herself and the respect she has for the original versions."

From his very first cover song, "I'm Yours," to the present day, Duong Edward has amassed a considerable collection of cover songs that are distinctly his own.

Fans affectionately call Duong the "cover prince" and encourage him to release more original songs because they want to hear familiar tunes performed in his own voice and style. However, there are also many who tell Duong that he is just a cover singer and doesn't have any original work of his own.

The singer has many popular cover songs.

Despite facing mixed opinions about his cover songs, for Duong Edward, "the thing I'm most proud of and grateful for is being accepted by the audience. And for Duong, covering songs is also a way to show appreciation and remember the original versions, especially those songs that have stood the test of time and which audiences have sometimes forgotten about."

On the evening of October 12th, Edward Duong officially introduced to the audience the music video for "Thuong Em" (Loving You) - a song composed by musician Khac Viet.

This is the song that "The Romantic Unicorn" Duong Edward performed on the reveal stage of "The Masked Singer Vietnam" season 2, and it immediately received special attention from the public.
