Railways are selling train tickets for the September 2nd holiday at incredibly attractive prices.

Specifically, for the Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi route, tickets are on sale for trains SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, and SE7/SE8.

In the northern region, tickets are on sale for trains SE19/SE20 on the Hanoi - Da Nang route; NA1/NA2 on the Hanoi - Vinh route; SP3/SP4 on the Hanoi - Lao Cai route; and HP1/HP2, LP2/LP3, LP5/LP6, and LP7/LP8 on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route.

In the southern region, tickets are now on sale for trains SE21/SE22 on the Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang route; SNT1/SNT2 on the Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang route; and SPT1/SPT2 on the Ho Chi Minh City - Phan Thiet route.

Railways are selling train tickets for the September 2nd holiday, with many discount programs.

For these trains, the railway still applies discounts for social policy beneficiaries such as Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, victims of chemical poisoning, severely disabled people, the elderly, children, students, trade union members, and passengers with customer cards.

Additionally, during the National Day holiday on September 2nd (from August 29th to September 3rd), when purchasing a round-trip ticket, individuals will receive a 5% discount on the return fare, and groups of 20 or more will receive a 7% discount.

For other periods from August 19th to the end of 2024, excluding the September 2nd holiday, the railway company is offering various promotional programs with discounts of up to 15% on ticket prices.

Accordingly, for Thong Nhat passenger trains SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8, when purchasing tickets for distances over 900km, passengers who buy tickets 10 days or more before the departure date will receive a discount of 5% to 15% on the ticket price, excluding the 4-berth sleeper compartment on train SE3.

For trains SE21/SE22 (Saigon - Da Nang) with a travel distance of over 600km; trains SNT1/SNT2 (Saigon - Nha Trang) with a travel distance of over 300km; and trains SPT1/SPT2 on the Saigon - Phan Thiet route, passengers who purchase tickets 10 days or more before the departure date will receive a discount of 5% to 15% on the ticket price, excluding sleeper compartments with 4 berths on trains SNT1/SNT2 and SPT1/SPT2.

For passengers purchasing group tickets, groups of 11 or more receive a discount of 4% to 12% on the ticket price. Passengers purchasing round-trip tickets receive a 10% discount on the return fare.

In addition to regular trains, to serve passengers during the September 2nd holiday or when passenger numbers increase, the railway will operate extra trains from Hanoi to Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Quang Binh and vice versa; Hanoi to Hai Phong and vice versa; and from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Quang Ngai, Hanoi and vice versa. Simultaneously, there will be policies to encourage and offer incentives to groups purchasing tickets in large quantities or buying entire trains. The railway will create special trains with departure and arrival times tailored to customer requirements and at negotiated prices.
