High-speed railway and aspirations to reach further in the new era

After nearly two decades of "gestation", the North-South high-speed railway project has recently been approved by the 13th Party Central Committee for investment policy; at the same time, the Government Party Committee and the National Assembly Party Delegation have been assigned to direct relevant agencies to complete the dossier to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and approval of the policy, a number of specific mechanisms and policies at this 8th Session. If approved by the National Assembly, many experts and policymakers believe that this is the right time to build a "symbolic project in the era of national growth".
