In 2025, EVNGENCO2 will continue to fulfill its obligations to the State budget well, with an estimated total contribution of 1,559 billion VND, affirming the responsibility of a state-owned enterprise towards the socio -economic development of the locality and the country.

At the conference summarizing the work of 2025, Mr. Tran Ly - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Member of the Board of Directors of EVNGENCO2, stated that 2025 is the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 12th Party Congress of EVNGENCO2, term 2025-2030. Simultaneously, the Party Committee of the Corporation will reorganize and streamline the structure of its subordinate Party branches and consolidate personnel at all levels of the Party committees in accordance with regulations.

Party building work continues to be emphasized in political , ideological, and organizational aspects; inspection, supervision, discipline, and order within the Party are strengthened; and the leadership role of the Party committee in political tasks is clearly demonstrated. Under the leadership of the Party Committee, EVNGENCO2 has completed 100% of the targets of the 2025 Resolution, the mass organizations have achieved many positive results, and the Party membership has been continuously consolidated and developed.

Ensuring smooth operation and improving production and business efficiency.

Also at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thinh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of EVNGENCO2, emphasized: In the past year, the total electricity production of EVNGENCO2 is estimated at 16.052 billion kWh, completing 101% of the annual plan and achieving the assigned profit target. All of EVNGENCO2's financial indicators for the year are healthy, making it the first unit with the healthiest financial indicators among the General Corporations under the Vietnam Electricity Group. Specifically: the short-term solvency ratio is 3.89 times, ensuring solvency (>1 time); the debt/equity ratio is 0.64 times, ensuring financial safety according to regulations (< 3 times); business operations are profitable, preserving and developing equity invested in EVNGENCO2.

EVNGENCO2 has strived to ensure the safe operation of power plants, meeting the mobilization requirements of the national power system, while simultaneously implementing comprehensive solutions for management, cost savings, and improved production and business efficiency. EVNGENCO2 continues to fulfill its obligations to the State budget well, with an estimated total contribution of VND 1,559 billion in 2025, affirming the responsibility of a state-owned enterprise towards the socio-economic development of the locality and the country.

Attending and giving a directive speech, Mr. Dang Hoang An - Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Members of EVN, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and results achieved by the Party Committee and the entire EVNGENCO2 in 2025. Accordingly, EVNGENCO2 has made many advances in indicators such as: continuing to ensure production and business activities with the financial indicators of the entire EVNGENCO2 for the year remaining healthy, and the value of capital investment in construction reaching 603 billion VND, which is an outstanding result among power generation corporations.

Furthermore, EVNGENCO2's digital transformation efforts have made a positive contribution to the Group's overall digital transformation results. Mr. Dang Hoang An suggested that the Corporation continue to focus on investment and construction, particularly on renewable energy projects. He also emphasized the need for the Corporation to prioritize the exhaust gas treatment project, aiming for completion in 2026, thereby meeting environmental standards, complying with the law, and demonstrating social responsibility and environmental protection.

At the same time, the EVNGENCO2 leadership needs to promptly implement an action program focusing on three breakthrough pillars: electricity supply, profitable production and business operations, and the development of an environmental investment plan to reduce fuel consumption, upgrade exhaust gas treatment systems, and reduce self-consumption of electricity by 5%. Furthermore, it is crucial to build a clean and strong Party organization, closely adhering to the continuous guidance of the Party Committee Standing Committee and the Party Inspection Committee, ensuring democracy and transparency, and successfully implementing the tasks for 2026.

Mr. Tran Phu Thai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVNGENCO2, affirmed: “The leadership team of EVNGENCO2 is committed to seriously absorbing, understanding, and fully implementing the directives of the Group's leadership.” He also affirmed the determination of the entire corporation to comprehensively implement fundamental changes for EVNGENCO2, closely adhering to EVN's direction, and seriously and promptly carrying out the tasks assigned by the Group, ensuring quality, and striving to complete and exceed the assigned production and business plan targets.

The conference affirmed the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, and high determination of all EVNGENCO2 staff and employees. The achievements in 2025 are an important foundation for the Corporation to continue improving production and business efficiency, ensuring safe operation of the power system, and fulfilling its social responsibilities.
