Deputy General Director Bui Hai Thanh representing EVNHCMC received the Certificate of Top 10 Typical ASEAN Enterprises 2025.
Specifically, EVNHCMC was awarded two prizes: Top 10 Outstanding ASEAN Enterprises 2025 and in the individual category, General Director Nguyen Van Thanh was honored as Top 10 Excellent ASEAN Leaders 2025.
In recent years, with the strategic orientation of "Digital Enterprise, Digital Services", EVNHCMC has synchronously deployed many comprehensive digital transformation solutions. All electricity services are now provided online via the website, National Public Service Portal, Ho Chi Minh City Public Service Portal and EVNHCMC application.
At the same time, the Corporation has completed the deployment of electronic services in the form of OTP and digital signature; over 80% of customer requests are received and processed automatically thanks to artificial intelligence applications (Chatbot, Callbot...), helping to shorten waiting time and provide quick and timely responses.
EVNHCMC is also the first unit in the industry to complete the replacement of 100% of electronic meters with remote data collection function, allowing customers to easily monitor daily electricity consumption via mobile applications. To date, nearly 100% of customers have paid their electricity bills in a non-cash manner.

At the same time, in 2024, EVNHCMC's Smart Grid Index (SGI) will reach 80.4/100 points, ranking 41/92 power companies with smart grids in the world - on par with many large power corporations such as Western Power (Australia), Dominion Energy (USA), BC Hydro and Hydro Ottawa (Canada), TNB (Malaysia) and Westnetz (Germany).
Notably, EVNHCMC is one of two Vietnamese enterprises honored to receive the ASEAN Innovative Enterprise Award at the Asia IoT Business Forum (AIBP) with the project "Developing Smart Grid".
In the individual category, General Director Nguyen Van Thanh was honored for his strategic vision, innovation, and leadership of more than 8,400 employees in the journey of modernizing the electricity industry, developing clean energy, and providing smart customer service. This is a recognition of his strategic orientation and leadership in the comprehensive innovation of the Corporation.
The ASEAN Award 2025 is a recognition of the prestige and internal capacity of EVNHCMC, and at the same time a great source of encouragement for the collective leadership, officers and employees of EVNHCMC to continue to strive, innovate, improve management and service efficiency, contributing to the prosperous and sustainable development of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and the ASEAN community.
