On the evening of May 30, Korean music group EXID met and talked with Vietnamese media on the occasion of the EXID Fancon In Vietnam event which will take place tomorrow evening, May 31.
This is a concert combined with a fan meeting, marking the first time EXID has held a fancon in Vietnam, and is also a comeback after 3 years of absence since the album X celebrating 10 years of activity.

According to Jeonghwa, the members have always cherished the desire to perform in Vietnam because of the great affection that fans have for the group. That attachment is one of the important reasons why the group chose this place for this special reunion.
"We released the album X on our 10th anniversary, there are songs that the group hasn't had many opportunities to perform for fans. Therefore, we prepared those stages in EXID Fancon In Vietnam .

In fact, for EXID, fancon is not a program that the group organizes regularly. Through this event, the group hopes to bring completely new images to Vietnamese fans.
When witnessing the anticipation and positive feedback that fans have for EXID Fancon In Vietnam even though the concert has not yet taken place, the group could not hide their emotions.
"We really appreciate the love of Vietnamese fans and always remind each other that we need to create more opportunities to meet people and try to bring more fun and interesting activities in the future," the group said.
Besides coming to Vietnam to participate in music events, EXID members also have the opportunity to set foot here on trips and film for reality shows. For the group, Vietnam is a country that is both beautiful and has a special, irresistible attraction.

EXID happily mentions the nickname given by Vietnamese fans
At the event, when the MC suddenly mentioned the group's Vietnamese nickname, the EXID members burst into laughter. Even though 7 years have passed, they still seem to remember the creative and 'silly' nicknames that Vietnamese fans used to give them.
"My nickname is Bald Brother, which means bald brother. It's a really interesting name," Hani said, laughing loudly.

Similarly, the members also talked about their Vietnamese names. Accordingly, Hyeri is Xang, LE is nicknamed Dai Gia, Solji is named Chi Dai and Jeonghwa is affectionately called Bong.
In addition, the group was also guided by the MC and journalist to say simple Vietnamese sentences such as "Hello", "Hello Vietnam". Notably, despite being a girl group, EXID did not hesitate to say "I love you", creating the most adorable highlight in the meeting.

EXID debuted on February 16, 2012 with an initial lineup of 6 members, but later stabilized with 5 members including Solji, LE, Hani, Hyelin and Jeonghwa. The group is known for its sexy, mature style, combining pop, dance and hip hop music.
