Nearly 250 officers and soldiers set off to join the UN peacekeeping mission

The Ministry of National Defense held a ceremony to send off Level 2 Field Hospital No. 7 and Engineering Team No. 4 to carry out missions at the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan and Abyei region (UNISFA).

On the morning of September 22, 2025, the Ministry of National Defense held a ceremony to send off Level 2 Field Hospital No. 7 and Engineering Team No. 4 to carry out missions at the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) and Abyei region (UNISFA).

Over the past 11 years, Vietnam has sent more than 1,300 officers and professional soldiers of the People's Army and People's Public Security to participate in United Nations peacekeeping activities, which have been recognized and highly appreciated by the international community./.
