November 2025 continued to show the stable growth of Hanoi 's tourism, with increases in both visitor numbers, revenue, and occupancy rates. Destination development programs, product diversification, and expanded domestic and international cooperation were implemented synchronously, creating positive changes for the capital's tourism market in the fourth quarter.

According to a report by the Hanoi Department of Tourism, in November, the city welcomed 2.5 million visitors, an increase of 14.7% compared to the same period in 2024. Of these, international visitors reached 851,100, an increase of 25%, and domestic visitors reached 1.65 million, an increase of 10%. Total revenue from tourism is estimated at VND 11,360 billion, an increase of 18.4%.

In the first 11 months of 2025, Hanoi welcomed 30.94 million visitors, a 22.1% increase compared to the same period last year. Tourism revenue reached VND 120,600 billion, a 20.7% increase. These figures reflect the continued expansion of the market's appeal as the system of tourism products, services, and events is constantly being improved.

The surge in tourism demand has helped Hanoi's accommodation system maintain its efficiency. Room occupancy in November reached 73.4%, a 6.3 percentage point increase compared to the same period in 2024. The city currently has 3,761 accommodation establishments with over 71,000 rooms, including 65 establishments rated from 1 to 5 stars with nearly 10,000 rooms. The system of 58 service facilities meeting standards in dining, shopping, entertainment, and healthcare continues to play a supporting role in enhancing the quality of the destination.

The tourism workforce is maintained with 1,921 international travel agencies, 591 domestic travel agencies, 6,898 international tour guides, and 2,620 domestic tour guides, contributing to ensuring service capacity during the peak season at the end of the year.

Tourism development and expansion efforts are being implemented in many areas. In November, the Department of Tourism organized a tourism development conference in Phuc Loc commune to guide management and improve product effectiveness. Survey programs in Phu Dong and Thu Lam communes helped connect travel businesses with suburban destinations. Participation in the International Festival for the Preservation and Development of Traditional Craft Villages at Thang Long Imperial Citadel from November 14th to 18th provided an opportunity to showcase the cultural depth and traditional craft villages of Hanoi.

In the field of regional cooperation, Hanoi participated in a tourism promotion delegation to the Southwestern provinces from November 4th to 7th, promoting cooperation in market development. Workshops evaluating night tourism and community-based tourism products further supplemented the foundation for expanding unique experiences.

Propaganda and promotion efforts were intensified with 75 news articles introducing tourism activities during the month. The Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2025 and the third Hanoi Autumn Festival were two events that created distinct cultural highlights, attracting a large number of locals and tourists. Activities such as the Ao Dai mass performance, the City Tour bus parade, and the exhibition spaces were widely publicized, contributing to increased recognition of Hanoi's tourism.

In addition, new tourism products continue to be promoted, such as the "Ngoc Son - Mysterious Night" night tour, the "Museum Night" program, the wild sunflower season in Ba Vi, the daisy-lined road, and various check-in spots in Dan Phuong. Hanoi has also received attention from international media, thereby enhancing its image as a destination in the global market.

The "Hanoi City Department of Tourism" social media page posted 36 articles this month, providing timely information about events, cultural values, and tourism products, attracting thousands of interactions.

Market promotion activities have been strongly implemented. Hanoi, in coordination with Vinh Long province, organized a tourism promotion program from November 4th to 7th, while continuing to finalize cooperation with the Ile-de-France region for the 2026-2029 period. From November 16th to 26th, a delegation of city leaders attended the opening ceremony of the direct flight route to Copenhagen and organized promotion conferences in Norway and Sweden, creating opportunities to expand the Nordic market. The city also participated in the 2026 Tourism Promotion Conference in Ninh Binh and conducted research on key international tourist markets.

These results show that Hanoi's tourism sector is maintaining positive growth momentum, continuing to be an important economic sector contributing to the overall development of the capital city in the coming time.
