Nearly 4000 athletes participated in the "Phan Thiet Marathon 2023

On October 6th, in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Nguyen Nam Long - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City ( Binh Thuan province) - together with the Organizing Committee, held a press conference to officially announce the "Phan Thiet Marathon 2023 - Green Journey" race.

This is a sporting event in response to the 2023 National Tourism Year "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence," organized for the first time by the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City in collaboration with Stop And Sports.

At the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Nam Long also stated that nearly 4,000 athletes have participated so far. The official race will take place on October 22, 2023, and will include distances of 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km. Athletes will have the opportunity to race along the Phan Thiet - Mui Ne route, experience the peaceful life of Mui Ne fishing villages, and savor the unique cuisine of Binh Thuan. This will be an ideal opportunity for athletes to relax and have fun right in the heart of the resort capital, while also learning more about Binh Thuan through its culture, cuisine, and diverse experiential services.

The tournament's jerseys and medals are inspired by the iconic Phan Thiet Water Tower, combined with characteristic images of a coastal region such as coconut trees, fishing nets, and fish. All of this creates a design that is distinctly local.

The starting and finishing points are located at the Mui Ne Summerland Entertainment and Tourism Complex on Vo Nguyen Giap Street - one of the most beautiful coastal roads in Phan Thiet city, to provide maximum convenience for participating athletes.

More than just a sporting event, the organizers are collaborating with ENJOY SPORT on the "Run with a Child's Smile" campaign to raise funds for Operation Smile, an organization that provides cleft lip and palate surgery, making the tournament even more meaningful and humane.

With this program, athletes can still upload photos as usual, including two high-quality photos without watermarks. However, in the spirit of contributing to the community and sharing with underprivileged children, athletes can support by choosing the 99,000 VND photo combo package to download all high-quality, watermark-free photos. After deducting 30% for ENJOY SPORT's operating costs, the remaining amount will be donated to the Operation Smile fund to perform free surgeries for underprivileged children born with cleft lip, cleft palate, and other craniofacial deformities in developing countries, including Vietnam.
