
The Ministry of Health , the Vietnam Young Doctors Association, the Hai Phong City Department of Health, several central hospitals, and medical universities recently organized a health check-up program titled "For a Healthier Vietnam" at the Temple of the Great Physician Dao Cong Chinh (Vinh Am commune).
Nearly 600 elderly people and children in Vinh Am commune received free medical examinations, consultations, and medication.

The event was organized to commemorate the 71st anniversary of the liberation of Hai Phong and the Hai Phong Red Phoenix Flower Festival 2026.
During the program, people received free medical examinations, health consultations, and medication from doctors and medical staff, and their information was updated in their electronic health records.
In particular, the program has facilitated access to quality healthcare services locally for the elderly, veterans, people with underlying health conditions, and those in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, the organizing committee visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Chut in Cao Minh 9 village; and presented many meaningful gifts to poor households, families receiving preferential treatment, the elderly, children in difficult circumstances, and students who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies in the area.
