Nat Son commune has a natural area of over 154 square kilometers and a population of nearly 29,000 people, of which ethnic minorities account for 97%. The large geographical area, scattered population, and uneven levels of education make accessing public administrative services difficult. In response to this, the commune's People's Committee implemented the "6 Clear" model: clear person, clear task, clear time, clear responsibility, clear product, and clear authority. This model is gradually proving effective, contributing to improved administrative discipline and creating positive changes in resolving administrative procedures for citizens and businesses.
From the very beginning of implementing the two-tiered government model, the People's Committee of the commune has consistently upheld the spirit of working "until the job is done, not until the end of the workday," with officials and civil servants willing to work overtime to ensure that citizens' applications are processed promptly and in accordance with regulations. The leaders of the People's Committee of the commune, along with specialized departments and centers, regularly monitor and expedite progress, promptly resolving any difficulties or obstacles that arise.
From July 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026, the Nat Son Commune Public Administrative Service Center received 5,743 applications and resolved 5,714, achieving a success rate of 99.5%. The implementation of Project 06 was carried out seriously, ensuring that population data was updated accurately, completely, cleanly, and accurately; the percentage of people granted level 2 electronic identification accounts reached 77%. These figures demonstrate the active involvement of commune officials in helping people quickly access the new government model, ensuring smooth processing of administrative procedures, and serving the legitimate rights of the people.

The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Nat Son commune presented Party badges to elderly and frail Party members at their homes.
Leveraging its agricultural strengths, Nat Son commune actively promotes and encourages the people to apply scientific and technical advancements to production in order to improve crop productivity and quality. For the 2026 spring crop, the entire commune planted approximately 570 hectares of rice. To ensure timely and technically sound production, Ms. Le Thi Hai Yen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Committee of the commune, has repeatedly visited the fields to inspect production. Following these inspections, the commune leadership directed the relevant departments to continue guiding people in applying appropriate farming techniques, and also advised on investing in internal field transportation infrastructure to support production.
Not only is the Party Committee and government of Nat Son commune closely involved in economic development, but they also prioritize listening to the opinions of the people regarding land clearance for key projects. Currently, the commune has two major projects: the Hoa Binh - Hanoi regional connecting road and the Son La expressway; and the road connecting National Highway 6 to Doc Lap, Du Sang, and Road 12B. With a spirit of innovative thinking, shifting from management to service, from passive to proactive dialogue, the commune has organized many meetings and direct dialogues between the heads of the Party Committee and government with the people to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles.
As of May 14, 2026, the Hoa Binh - Hanoi regional road project and the Son La expressway project, passing through Nat Son commune, spans 6.77km and involves the acquisition of 33.68 hectares of land from 250 households. Currently, only 11 households have yet to receive compensation due to objections regarding land prices. For the project connecting National Highway 6 to Doc Lap, there are still 2 households whose land has not been surveyed and 11 households that have not received compensation due to disagreements over the type of land to be acquired. The commune is continuing to intensify propaganda, mobilization, and dialogue to ensure the land clearance progresses according to plan.

Leaders of Nat Son commune visited and presented gifts to families facing particularly difficult circumstances in the commune.
In addition, the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee regularly visits the grassroots level, inquires about and gives gifts to families in difficult circumstances; delivers Party badges to elderly and infirm Party members at their homes; and presents gifts to elderly people celebrating their birthdays. These practical and meaningful actions are clear evidence of the efforts to build a government that is close to the people, serves the people, and works for the happiness of the people in Nat Son commune.
