VHO - In the spirit of the 2026 Thai Nguyen Tourism Season, nearly 700 athletes from many provinces and cities participated in a running race held in the Ba Be Lake area, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere.

On May 17th, at the Ba Be Lake National Special Monument, Ba Be commune organized the "Footprints on the Blue Lake" running race, attracting nearly 700 athletes from many provinces and cities to compete.

The tournament includes three distances: 5km, 10km, and 21km, for both men and women, with routes traversing various paths around Ba Be Lake and the distinctive mountainous terrain of the lake region.

The event was attended by 700 athletes.

According to observations by reporters from the Culture Newspaper, from early morning, a large number of athletes were present at the starting area to warm up and prepare for the competition, creating a vibrant atmosphere in the series of activities of the Thai Nguyen Tourism Season 2026.

Many athletes consider the running routes around Ba Be Lake to be quite challenging due to the constantly changing terrain, but they offer a different experience compared to many races held in urban areas.
