Nearly 9,500 people registered to apply for jobs at Long Thanh Airport

(DN) - According to the representative of the Department of Education and Training, as of August 21, the Organizing Committee of the Long Thanh International Airport Job Fair has received online applications from nearly 9,500 people. Of which, nearly 6,000 candidates are from Dong Nai province (accounting for more than 63%), the rest are candidates from other provinces and cities.

In addition to the number of candidates who have registered online, the festival is expected to welcome about 2,000 students from schools in Dong Nai province.

Accordingly, 27 high schools, colleges and universities will organize for students to participate in this job fair with about 100 students from each school.

The Long Thanh International Airport Job Fair will be held tomorrow, August 23, at 3A Park, An Phuoc Commune, Dong Nai Province, with the direct recruitment participation of 7 aviation enterprises. According to the initial survey, these enterprises have a need to recruit more than 4,000 workers, with diverse qualifications (high school graduates, intermediate, college, university graduates), and diverse occupations.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son requested the Department of Education and Training to proactively provide data on people in priority group 1 (those whose land was recovered for the Long Thanh International Airport project) to businesses so that businesses have a basis for prioritizing in the recruitment process.
