Fire prevention and fighting competition in Dong Nai province

(DN) - On August 25, the Steering Committee for Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue of Dong Nai province organized a Sports Competition to test fire prevention and rescue skills for nearly 1,000 grassroots fire prevention and rescue team members from nearly 170 enterprises at Competition Cluster No. 3 (including establishments in 5 communes: Xuan Duong, An Phuoc, Long Thanh, Binh An, Long Phuoc).

The sports festival will take place on August 25 and 26 at Long Thanh market area (Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province).

Cluster 3 is the first area in the whole province to organize the 2025 Fire Prevention and Rescue Professional Inspection Sports Festival for businesses, production and business establishments, and on-site fire prevention and rescue forces... The sports festival includes 2 contents: "2-spray fire pump formation B" exclusively for businesses and production and business establishments (taking place on August 25) and "300m combined formation for fire fighting, rescuing people and property" for forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, communes and administrative agencies (taking place on August 26).

This is one of the activities of Dong Nai province towards the "National Fire Prevention, Rescue and Rescue Day" October 4. Through the sports festival, it aims to promote propaganda and dissemination of fire prevention and fighting to people, officials, employees of state agencies, enterprises, and local production and business establishments. Thereby, contributing to improving the capacity to respond to fire incidents, minimizing the number of fires and damage caused by fires, and preventing large fires from causing serious damage.

According to the plan, from now until September 15, Dong Nai Provincial Police will organize inspections of 9 exam clusters across the province and Dong Nai Rubber Corporation. Teams with good results will participate in the final round at Dong Nai Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center (Tan Trieu Ward, Dong Nai Province) scheduled to take place on the morning of October 3.
