On the afternoon of July 25, at the DEEP C Industrial Park Complex, the Northern Power Corporation held a ceremony to place the signboard of the 110kV Nam Dinh Vu 1 - Nam Dinh Vu 2 transmission line project to welcome the 4th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Electricity Party Committee, Term 2025-2030.
The 110kV Nam Dinh Vu 1 - Nam Dinh Vu 2 transmission line project has a total investment of 73.9 billion VND, and will be under construction from November 2024, with the Northern Power Corporation as the investor and Hai Phong Power Company as the project manager. Under the direction of the Party Committee of the Group and the Party Committee of the Corporation, along with the effective coordination of related units, after more than 5 months of construction in unfavorable weather conditions, by May 16, the project was completed, safely energized, on schedule, and meeting technical standards as prescribed.
Speaking at the program, the representative of the Party Committee of the Northern Power Corporation informed that in the period of 2021-2024, Hai Phong's commercial electricity grew by an average of 8.63% per year. In order to promptly meet the load demand, the Northern Power Corporation is implementing key projects in the area. In the period of 2021-2025, the Corporation invested in 39 projects in Hai Phong with a total capital of more than 4,000 billion VND, of which 10 projects have been completed and 29 projects are under urgent construction.
The 110kV Nam Dinh Vu 1 - Nam Dinh Vu 2 transmission line project plays a very important role, contributing to the synchronous connection of the power transmission system between the two 110kV stations, improving the reliability of power supply, ensuring stable and flexible operation for Nam Dinh Vu industrial park and Deep C industrial park. Thereby promptly meeting the increasing demand for electricity of large investors, making a practical contribution to the socio -economic development of Hai Phong, and at the same time being an important premise to help the city make a breakthrough, maintaining its role as an industrial and logistics center of the region and the whole country.
On this occasion, the Party Committee of Vietnam Electricity Group awarded a certificate of merit to Hai Phong Electricity Company for its outstanding achievements in the construction of the 110kV Nam Dinh Vu 1 - Nam Dinh Vu 2 transmission line, a project to welcome the 4th Congress of Delegates of Vietnam Electricity Group Party Committee, term 2025-2030; The Party Committee of the Northern Power Corporation commended 4 collectives and 1 individual for their outstanding achievements in energizing construction investment projects ahead of schedule, making achievements to welcome the Congress of Delegates of Vietnam Electricity Group Party Committee.
