In recent years, GELEX has intensified its efforts to build a learning organization model, with increasingly systematic and widespread activities. The focus extends beyond short-term training courses to long-term learning and development plans, tailored to each position and title, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to improve their skills, adapt quickly, and maximize their potential in a competitive and volatile business environment.
Given GELEX's unique multi-generational workforce, the learning program has helped connect and leverage intergenerational knowledge for sustainable development.

The Mini MBA program in Management Thinking is designed for leaders and senior managers of GELEX Group.
GELEX's training programs are diverse and tailored to the needs of each target group. From orientation programs for new employees, G-Leadership and G-Manager courses aimed at improving leadership and management skills, to soft skills development and professional training courses for senior management staff… All are systematically structured and aligned with long-term development goals.
In 2024 alone, GELEX conducted 662 training courses, equivalent to nearly 126,000 hours of learning, attracting more than 13,000 employees. Behind these impressive numbers lies a clear strategy: to build GELEX into a true learning organization, where each individual is inspired to learn throughout their lives, constantly innovating to keep pace with the times, and creating a foundation for sustainable development.
In addition to inviting experienced lecturers from reputable educational institutions, GELEX also focuses on building and nurturing an internal team of lecturers, who are key figures in disseminating knowledge from within. Notably, many senior leaders have directly taught classes, shared their experiences, and inspired others at internal workshops and training sessions, fostering a learning culture that has become a deeply ingrained part of the company's culture.
The learning journey at GELEX is not limited to internal affairs. Practical experience programs in China and Thailand help GELEX Group leaders and managers stay updated on management trends, technology, and innovative thinking, as well as absorb and learn for practical implementation.
A destination for talent and high-quality human resources.
If the learning organization is a solid foundation internally, then the “GELEX Connect” project is a strategic step to expand the sustainable “flow” of human resources externally. With a 10-year roadmap (2025–2035), “GELEX Connect” is not simply a training project but a comprehensive ecosystem connecting GELEX with training partners both domestically and internationally. Through this, the Group not only proactively accesses new talent but also contributes to fostering and nurturing the spirit of innovation throughout the entire system.

The signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement aims to establish a comprehensive strategic partnership between GELEX Group and Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
The first activity of the “GELEX Connect” Project was the signing of a cooperation agreement to establish a comprehensive strategic partnership between GELEX Group and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, which took place on May 19th in Hanoi.
The project will create a comprehensive ecosystem of cooperation and exchange between GELEX and domestic and international training partners, helping GELEX not only access future talent but also contribute to promoting a culture of innovation and supporting the Group's R&D activities.
“GELEX Connect” also affirms GELEX’s social responsibility in training and developing human resources, creating a sustainable flow of talent, and contributing to national competitiveness.
Ms. Mai Thi Minh Thu, Director of Human Resources at GELEX Group and Head of the Project Team, stated: “The “GELEX Connect” project, directly led by GELEX Group leaders, will position GELEX as a destination for talent and high-quality human resources. Simultaneously, it will enhance the employer brand and promote GELEX Group's image as a professional, innovative company with numerous development opportunities.”
No budget limit for investment in human development.
GELEX's human development journey is further strongly supported by the Corporate Culture Project, launched in June 2025. Implemented to coincide with the Group's 35th anniversary, the project will run for eight months (from June 2025 to January 2026) across four key phases. Through this project, the "culture as strategy" mindset will be translated into concrete actions, contributing to building GELEX into an organization that adapts quickly to change; operates efficiently thanks to strong internal cohesion; and strives for sustainable development based on its people.
In 2025, GELEX's leadership team committed to allocating 44 billion VND to training activities (a 200% increase compared to 2024). Significantly, this expenditure is not the final limit, as GELEX will not limit its budget for human development in the future. Any employee, anywhere, who is eager to learn and committed to the company, will be given opportunities for growth.

GELEX's persistent efforts to put people at the center have earned it well-deserved recognition. At the HR Asia Awards 2024, GELEX was honored for the second consecutive year as "Best Workplace in Asia," surpassing over 700 other companies with a score far exceeding the average. In particular, the "HR Asia Most Caring Company" award strongly affirms that GELEX not only cares for employee welfare but also fosters the overall well-being and happiness of its workers.
This July marks the 35th anniversary of GELEX Group.
