GELEX 's portfolio of operational energy projects includes wind, solar, and hydropower projects with a total capacity of approximately 245MW. Following this step, the parties will proceed with obtaining approvals and completing the necessary legal procedures to carry out the transaction.
GELEX agrees to cooperate and invest with Sembcorp.
Sembcorp is a leading integrated energy and urban solutions provider based in Singapore. This transaction will increase the capacity of Sembcorp's renewable energy projects in Vietnam, including wind, solar, and hydropower, to over 450MW.
Under this agreement, GELEX and Sembcorp plan to collaborate on developing new renewable energy projects, contributing to Vietnam's energy transition and sustainable development.
Through its collaboration with Sembcorp, GELEX Group continues to realize its strategy of developing a partner ecosystem with leading multinational corporations to expand the market and value chain for the Group's core business areas.
