(NLĐO) - "Vietnamese Charm" - Gen Z's journey back to the villages begins with hundreds of videos , like a "living museum," authentically capturing the essence of traditional village culture.

Gen Z is an abbreviation for Generation Z. According to the Oxford Dictionary, Gen Z refers to people born between the late 1990s and 2012. The most common and widely accepted age range is 1997-2012.
Through hundreds of videos produced over five years, the project serves as a "living museum," authentically capturing the essence of traditional craft villages from across Vietnam. This is not only a journey to spark interest among Gen Z – young people living in the digital age – but also a strong affirmation that the younger generation is the one directly inheriting and developing this valuable heritage.
Gen Z members visit the traditional silk weaving village of Co Chat, Phuong Dinh commune (Truc Ninh district, Nam Dinh province).
Ms. Pham Thi Hanh Chi, founder of Bumblebee Agency, said that her love for Vietnamese culture was nurtured by family traditions, customs, and the traditional beauty of her homeland.
Vietnam enters 2025 with even more explosive growth and development, ushering in an era of national prosperity and well-being. And "Vietnamese Charm" was born within this overall national development.
"The 'Vietnamese Charm' series not only aims to preserve traditional beauty but also wants today's youth to understand and cherish these values through the most authentic and practical experiences of Vietnamese craft villages, cuisine , and heritage. The Gen Z series about villages is the first milestone in that journey," Ms. Hanh said.
Vietnamese culture will serve as a bridge to help young people rediscover their national pride, better understand the formation and development of cultural values, and inspire them to preserve and promote those values in modern life.
TikToker Giao Cùn shared that due to objective conditions, not many young people have the opportunity to visit traditional craft villages and directly observe artisans preserving their crafts. Therefore, through this project, young people can connect with these craft villages, thereby preserving the national identity and finding new directions for the craft villages, such as opening up ways to sell products through online channels.
Through hands-on experiences such as exploring traditional craft villages, discovering culinary delights, and discovering unique cultural heritage across the three regions of Vietnam, the project creates a strong bridge between the younger generation and the precious values of their ancestors.
