Coffee price forecast for tomorrow, December 18 , 2024

In recent years, Vietnam's coffee market has witnessed a significant transformation, not only focusing on European, American, and Japanese countries, but also expanding to closer markets such as China and Southeast Asian countries. This not only creates new opportunities for the Vietnamese coffee industry but also promotes sustainable development in the agricultural export sector.

According to statistics, China has imported 190,000 tons of coffee to date, worth $1.026 billion, marking a 47% increase in volume and nearly 33% in value, corresponding to an average import price of $5,400 per ton.

Regarding imports from Vietnam, China imported $166 million worth of coffee, a 66.5% increase compared to the same period in 2023, accounting for 16.21% of total imports. Vietnam currently ranks third in coffee supply to China, after Brazil and Colombia. This indicates a significant increase in demand for Vietnamese coffee in this large market.

Positive developments in the Chinese coffee market demonstrate the strong growth potential of Vietnam's coffee industry. This is an ideal time for Vietnamese businesses to seize opportunities and expand their markets, contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam's agricultural sector.

Furthermore, judging from the trading session at the beginning of the new week, we can see that world coffee prices have uniformly reversed course and risen across all exchanges. Therefore, experts predict that domestic coffee prices are very likely to continue their upward trend tomorrow, December 18, 2024.
