On June 25th, the Criminal Police Team of Hue City Police (Thua Thien Hue province) announced that they had identified the suspect involved in the use of counterfeit documents and seals of organizations and agencies.
Previously, the Hue City Police received a report from Ms. PTNQ (20 years old, a student at a university in the area) about someone claiming to be an officer from the general investigation team of the unit.

The individual, who identified himself as Ho Sy Nguyen, contacted Ms. Q., showed her a police ID card with his photo in uniform, a summons, obtained her phone number, and repeatedly arranged to meet her at a coffee shop for questioning.
The Criminal Investigation Team of Hue City Police quickly organized a force and verified that the suspect impersonating someone was Van Huu Long (27 years old, residing in Thuy Bang commune, Hue City).
At the police station, Long confessed that his purpose in impersonating a police officer was to approach female students with malicious intent.
Long went to a photocopy shop to have the aforementioned documents photographed in order to forge them.
The police are continuing to consolidate the case file and will prosecute Van Huu Long and those involved in accordance with the law.
