During the program, legal aid assistants introduced legal regulations on free legal aid; and publicized the groups eligible for legal aid, such as: people with meritorious service to the revolution, poor households, near-poor households, children, ethnic minorities in particularly difficult areas, the elderly, people with disabilities, victims of domestic violence with financial difficulties, etc.
In addition, collaborating lawyers from the Thai Nguyen Provincial Bar Association directly advised and answered many questions from the public related to areas such as land, marriage and family, prevention and control of domestic violence, and legal policies for vulnerable groups.
Many problems arising in daily life are addressed in detail, helping people understand and correctly implement legal regulations.
This activity contributes to raising awareness and compliance with the law among people at the grassroots level; and at the same time ensures the right to access law for those eligible for legal aid in the area.
