Pig prices remain stable in all three regions

Northern region

The price of live pigs today (November 24, 2024) in the Northern region has not recorded any fluctuations and the price is stable compared to yesterday. Currently, the price of live pigs in this region is being purchased at around 61,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.

In particular, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Hai Duong provinces and Hanoi city still maintain transactions at 63,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region.

Central Highlands region

Pig prices in the Central Highlands provinces today (November 24, 2024) are mainly trading at 60,000 - 61,000 VND/kg. Only Lam Dong province has the highest pig price in the region at 62,000 VND/kg.

Last week, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands provinces fluctuated slightly, decreasing by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Thua Thien Hue provinces.

Binh Thuan province alone increased by 1,000 VND/kg, Lam Dong province decreased slightly in the middle of the week but quickly returned to the upward trend in the weekend session.

Southern region

In the Southern region today (November 24, 2024), the price of live pigs remained stable and there was no price increase in some provinces like yesterday (November 23, 2024), fluctuating from 61,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.

The provinces of Long An, Ca Mau, An Giang, Kien Giang and Can Tho City are selling live pigs at 63,000 VND/kg. In contrast, the lowest price in the region is 61,000 VND/kg, being purchased by traders in the provinces of Binh Phuoc, Tien Giang, Bac Lieu, Tra Vinh and Ho Chi Minh City.
