The training program was organized online, connecting with 102 points at the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones in the province. Participants in the training included pig farmers and officers in charge of animal husbandry and veterinary work in localities with household and farm-scale animal husbandry movements.
The training content focuses on implementing the plan to prevent and control African swine fever in the province in 2025. Disseminate legal documents related to livestock farming. Provide guidance on biosafety measures to prevent and control African swine fever and improve the capacity of livestock farmers to prevent and control terrestrial animal diseases.
Through the training program, it has helped veterinary staff, farm owners, and livestock households recognize the symptoms and characteristics of African swine fever.
