* According to Anova Feed, the pig price market nationwide is currently at a good price range, the recorded price is bringing good profits to farmers. If the price reaches the 7-month mark like the same period last year, this will be a big boost to the business results of enterprises.

The reason for the increase in pork prices is due to the high consumer demand during the summer, the tourist season, when restaurants and hotels reopen. In addition, the business sector and production chains are tending to expand production when output prices increase.

While the price of live pigs increased, the price of animal feed tended to decrease slightly.

According to the Vietnam Animal Husbandry Association, animal feed prices have decreased three times since the beginning of the year, the most recent time being 400 VND/kg (about 3%). Although not much higher than before, the price of animal feed ingredients in the world is cooling down, and the shipping cost to Vietnam has also decreased almost to the same level before the Covid-19 pandemic.

In the coming time, animal feed prices will continue to be adjusted in a downward direction - this is beneficial for farmers in the process of herd restoration from now until the end of the year.
