Warm "Mid-Autumn Festival for Children" program at Tho Son

(DN) - On October 4, at Doan Duc Thai Secondary School (Tho Son Commune, Dong Nai Province), Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television coordinated with sponsors and localities to organize the program "Mid-Autumn Festival for Children" in 2025 for children in difficult circumstances in remote, isolated and border areas of Dong Nai Province.

At the event, the organizers presented gifts to 50 children from disadvantaged backgrounds in Tho Son commune, each gift worth approximately 350,000 VND, including mooncakes, lanterns, milk, and candies; and awarded 15 scholarships to students who overcame difficulties and excelled in their studies (each scholarship worth 1 million VND). The funding was raised by Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio and Television through donations from benefactors.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, a representative from Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio & Television said: "This program is part of a series of activities to care for, give gifts to, and award scholarships to children in 2025 by Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio & Television. The program has practical significance in expressing the deep affection and social responsibility of the journalists at Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio & Television towards disadvantaged children in the province. Through this program, we hope to spread the spirit of mutual support and compassion throughout society in jointly caring for poor children, disadvantaged children, and children of ethnic minorities in remote, mountainous, and border areas on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival."
