In the rice market, localities such as Dong Thap and Kien Giang observed stable transactions, with a slight increase in the price of fragrant rice, abundant supply of dried rice, and stable demand.
According to an update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, today's rice prices remain unchanged compared to yesterday. IR 50404 is priced at 7,400 – 7,500 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice at 8,200 – 8,400 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice at 7,500 – 7,600 VND/kg; OM 18 rice at 8,400 – 8,600 VND/kg; OM 380 rice fluctuating between 6,800 – 7,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice at 8,400 – 8,600 VND/kg; Nhat rice at 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg; and Nang Nhen (dried) rice at 20,000 VND/kg.
In addition, the glutinous rice market remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Long An IR 4625 glutinous rice (fresh) was priced at 7,800 – 7,900 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday. Long An IR 4625 glutinous rice (dried) was priced at 9,600 – 9,800 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday. Long An 3-month glutinous rice (dried) was priced at 9,800 – 10,000 VND/kg.

In the rice market, localities such as An Giang and Dong Thap have observed slow purchasing by warehouses, a slight increase in the price of fragrant rice, and stable prices for other types of rice.
On the rice market, prices have been adjusted compared to yesterday. Currently, the price of IR 504 summer-autumn raw rice has decreased to 10,300 – 10,450 VND/kg, down 100 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Meanwhile, the price of finished IR 504 rice remains stable at 12,300 – 12,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Regarding by-products, the prices of various by-products range from 6,050 to 9,400 VND/kg. Currently, the price of OM 5451 broken rice is 9,200 – 9,400 VND/kg; the price of dry rice bran is 6,050 – 6,150 VND/kg.
At retail markets, rice prices remained unchanged for individual rice varieties. Currently, Nang Nhen rice is listed highest at 28,000 VND/kg. However, regular rice prices continue to be fixed at around 15,000 – 16,000 VND/kg, fragrant rice at 20,000 – 22,000 VND/kg. Jasmine rice is 17,000 – 18,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice 21,500 VND/kg; long-grain Thai fragrant rice 20,000 – 22,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 21,000 VND/kg; regular Soc rice 18,500 VND/kg; Thai Soc rice 21,000 VND/kg; and Japanese rice 22,000 VND/kg.
On the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 100% broken rice was priced at US$423/ton; standard 5% broken rice at US$518/ton; and 25% broken rice at US$488/ton.
