Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Hospital said that from October 1 to November 13, the hospital received 5,132 patients, including more than 1,296 cases of influenza A, accounting for about 25%. Most of them were children - a group at high risk of serious complications.

In Quang Ninh , from November 1 to November 17, Bai Chay Hospital's clinics recorded more than 300 patients with influenza A, about 40% of whom had to be hospitalized. The patients, mainly the elderly and children, came to the clinic with symptoms of sneezing, runny nose, cough, and fever.

In Lang Son , in the past 10 days, the Department of Infectious Diseases, Lang Son General Hospital, has treated 50-60 patients with influenza A. Every day, the Examination Department receives 40-50 diagnoses of influenza A. The subjects are mainly young children and the elderly with underlying diseases; many cases have complications of pneumonia.
