Gold prices fell by 2.6 million VND per tael.

This morning, February 6th, the domestic gold market continued its sharp decline, falling by 2.6 million VND per tael. The central exchange rate also decreased by another 1 dong.

The SJC gold price listed by Saigon Jewelry Company, Doji Company, and Phu Quy Company ranges from 171.6 to 174.6 million VND per tael.

At 9:30 AM, the SJC gold price listed by Saigon Jewelry Company, Doji Company, and Phu Quy Company ranged from 171.6 to 174.6 million VND/ounce (buying/selling price), a decrease of 2.6 million VND/ounce compared to the closing price on February 5th.

Similarly, the price of gold rings also fell sharply. Bao Tin Minh Chau Company traded at 169.6 - 172.6 million VND/ounce (buy/sell), down 4.6 million VND compared to the closing price on February 5th; Phu Quy Company traded at 171.1 - 174.1 million VND/ounce (buy/sell), down 2.6 million VND/ounce compared to the closing price on February 5th.

Globally, the precious metal is trading around $4,820 per ounce. This price is equivalent to approximately 151.8 million VND per tael when converted using the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank . However, the current price of gold on the world market is still about 22.8 million VND per tael lower than the price of SJC gold in Vietnam.
