Doji listed the 9999 round ring at 110.5 million VND/tael for buying and 113.5 million VND/tael for selling, down 2 VND/tael (buying) and down 1.5 million VND/tael (selling) compared to the morning of May 15.
Gold rings at Bao Tin Minh Chau are listed at 113.5 million VND/tael for buying and 116.5 million VND/tael for selling, down 2 million VND/tael in both directions compared to the morning of May 15.

World gold price today
This morning, May 16, the world gold price on Kitco floor reached 3,203.20 - 3,205.20 USD/ounce, an increase of 26.2 USD/ounce compared to the previous trading session.
This is a very strong recovery of gold prices, after plunging to only 3,130 USD/ounce before.
The latest data on the US manufacturing outlook for May was not as expected, which is a factor supporting the gold price to increase again. The demand to buy the bottom when the gold price fell to the lowest level in more than a month, also helped the precious metal to increase.
