SJC gold price 'increases rapidly', 2 SJC gold stores in Da Nang "suddenly close"

Coming to sell gold at the store at 185 Nguyen Van Linh in the rain, Mr. Tran Van Dung (Thanh Khe district) said he came twice on the morning of October 8 but saw that the store was not open. He called the number on the sign but no one answered. "I feel confused because the store did not give a reason for closing, while the price of gold is currently soaring," Mr. Dung said.

2 SJC gold stores in Da Nang 'suddenly closed' without reason, no reopening time

SJC Company confirmed that 2 stores in Da Nang have temporarily stopped trading. However, this unit did not provide information on the reason for the closure nor did it have information on when the stores in Da Nang will reopen.

The price of SJC gold on October 8, as listed by Saigon Jewelry Company Limited - SJC, recorded a 'hot increase'. Specifically, the price of SJC gold bars was at 83 million VND/tael for buying; and 85 million VND/tael for selling. An increase of 1 million VND/tael for both buying and selling compared to the closing price of the trading session on October 7.
