Domestic gold prices skyrocket, gradually approaching the 125 million VND/tael mark

(GLO)- After 2 days of stable prices, the domestic gold bar price today (August 14) skyrocketed to 124.7 million VND/tael. This is a quite impressive increase since the beginning of the year.

Since the beginning of August, the price of gold bars has continuously brought many surprises when continuously setting new peaks. Currently, businesses such as SJC, PNJ, DOJI , Bao Tin Minh Chau have listed both buying and selling prices at a high level of 123.7-124.7 million VND/tael, an increase of 800,000 VND for selling and 1 million VND for buying compared to the trading session 2 days ago.

The listing board of Mi Hong enterprise also recorded green growth, in which the buying price also exceeded the national average, currently trading at 124.2 million VND/tael. Meanwhile, at Phu Quy, the difference between buying and selling prices is 2 million VND, currently this enterprise is buying at a low level, only 122.7 million VND/tael.

The gold ring market also recorded slight fluctuations depending on each enterprise. In particular, SJC is trading 1-chi, 2-chi, 5-chi gold rings at 117.1-119.6 million VND/tael; Bao Tin Minh Chau is trading smooth round gold rings at 117.5-120.5 million VND/tael. Mi Hong is holding the price at 118-119.5 million VND/tael; and Phu Quy is trading at 115.7-118.7 million VND/tael.

World gold also continued to increase. Recorded at 8:43 a.m. on August 14, Vietnam time, the world spot gold price was at 3,364.2 USD/ounce, up 7.2 USD/ounce compared to last night, converted according to the bank USD price at over 108.3 million VND/tael, including taxes and fees, about 16.4 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
