The Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation has announced the selling price of E10 RON 95-V bio-gasoline, with the highest price not exceeding 25,120 VND/liter.

The Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation has announced the selling price of E10 RON 95-V bio-gasoline, with the highest price not exceeding 25,120 VND/liter.

Accordingly, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group ( Petrolimex ) has announced the selling price of E10 RON 95-V bio-gasoline, effective from 24:00 on May 12, 2026; this price is publicly available on the group's website and the websites of Petrolimex's member petroleum companies.

Specifically, in Zone 1, E10 RON 95-V bioethanol fuel is priced at 24,630 VND/liter; in Zone 2, it is priced at 25,120 VND/liter.

The price of E10 RON 95-V bioethanol fuel announced by Petrolimex is applied at Petrolimex's distribution system throughout Vietnam, including: Petrolimex gas stations and small-scale fuel dispensing points belonging to Petrolimex; gas stations of dealers and general agents selling Petrolimex fuel; and gas stations of retailers operating under franchise agreements from Petrolimex.

For areas far from ports, main depots, and petroleum production facilities as stipulated in Clause 27, Article 1, Decree 95/2021/ND-CP dated November 1, 2021 of the Government (referred to by Petrolimex as "Region 2"); the General Director of Petrolimex authorizes the directors of Petrolimex's member petroleum companies to directly determine the actual selling price in the area where they operate, but this price must not exceed the Zone 2 price mentioned above.

Decision No. 363/PLX-QD-TGĐ dated May 12, 2026, on gasoline and diesel fuel prices has been sent to all Petrolimex member units and reported to the Government Office , the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance.

Petrolimex member units, upon issuing decisions on retail gasoline and diesel prices within their distribution systems, must submit the issued price decisions to the Provincial/City Department of Industry and Trade and the Group for reporting.

According to a representative from Petrolimex, the company has proactively launched a pilot program for E10 gasoline in Ho Chi Minh City starting in August 2025, while simultaneously investing in improving its storage facilities, blending technology, and technical processes. Currently, the company has 7 ready-to-use blending points nationwide and over 2,800 retail outlets with prepared infrastructure. Notably, the company is developing a plan to roll out E10 RON95 gasoline across its entire system, ready to accelerate the complete replacement of conventional gasoline ahead of schedule if conditions permit.

In addition to focusing on the domestic market, Petrolimex is also proactively learning from international experience through exchange programs in Thailand, the Philippines, and the United States to improve its business processes, transportation, and quality control of E10 gasoline.

Alongside technical infrastructure, Petrolimex places special emphasis on ensuring the supply of raw materials. According to calculations, if the Group completely switches to E10 RON95 gasoline, it could reduce its consumption of conventional gasoline by nearly 10%, equivalent to approximately 35,000-40,000 m³ per month, thereby contributing to reducing import pressure.

According to Petrolimex, one of the key factors for the market acceptance of E10 gasoline is its quality and safety. In practice, after more than eight months of implementation in Ho Chi Minh City, no incidents or complaints from consumers related to E10 gasoline have been recorded. Furthermore, consumption during the pilot period of E10 increased by approximately 40% compared to the initial period, demonstrating increasingly positive consumer response.

In addition, to ensure the safe and effective deployment of biofuels, the Group has comprehensively reviewed its quality management system and invested in rigorous monitoring tools to ensure that the product meets all state and company standards.
