Throughout its operations in Vietnam, MM Mega Market Vietnam has consistently identified partnering with farmers, supporting the consumption and enhancement of the value of Vietnamese agricultural products as one of the core directions in its sustainable development strategy.
Lychee from Bac Ninh is a clear example of the effectiveness of the linkage between the locality, producers, and modern distribution systems.
In the 2025 season, thanks to the strong attention and guidance of Bac Ninh province in managing the growing area, controlling quality, tracing origin, and connecting supply and demand, the MM Mega Market system successfully sold more than 100 tons of Bac Ninh lychees at 21 centers nationwide.
Building on the achievements of the past season, in 2026, we aim to further expand our sales volume with an expected growth rate of over 50%. To realize this goal, MM Mega Market will focus on optimizing its logistics system and modern supply chain to deliver lychees from the growing regions to the distribution system in the shortest possible time, ensuring the freshest and highest quality when they reach consumers.
Simultaneously, the company continues to strengthen strategic cooperation with cooperatives, production groups, and individual producers in Bac Ninh province. The signed memoranda of understanding and cooperation agreements will serve as an important foundation for standardizing procurement processes, stabilizing output, ensuring transparency in production, and creating sustainable value for the people.
At MM Mega Market centers nationwide, we will arrange prominent and advantageous display locations for Bac Ninh lychees; and simultaneously implement promotional programs to stimulate consumer demand and introduce the product to individual customers as well as HORECA customers including restaurants, hotels, and collective kitchens.
In addition to its direct sales system, MM Mega Market will also boost sales on digital platforms, e-commerce, and online channels to help Bac Ninh lychee reach a wider range of consumers nationwide.
We believe that the 2026 lychee harvest will continue to be successful, bringing higher economic value to producers and contributing to elevating the brand of Bac Ninh lychees in the domestic market.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Viet, Vifoco Import-Export Joint Stock Company, Tien Phong Ward: Developing deeply processed products.

In recent years, many agricultural products from Bac Ninh have increasingly affirmed their quality with attractive packaging and distinctive flavors, gaining the trust and preference of consumers both domestically and internationally.
However, consumption pressure remains high due to concentrated harvests over a short period, while preservation and processing capabilities are limited. Therefore, developing deeply processed products is considered a crucial solution to increase added value and reduce the pressure on fresh fruit consumption during peak season.
Based on its production and business experience, Vifoco Import-Export Joint Stock Company has determined that deep processing not only extends the product life cycle but also expands the market year-round. Processed products ranging from lychees to potatoes, pumpkins, carrots, sweet corn, etc., are showing great potential. With proper investment in technology and preservation, the value of processed products can increase by 30 to 50% compared to traditional fresh fruit consumption.
To achieve deep processing, it is necessary to build a close-knit model linking businesses, cooperatives, farmers, logistics units, and distribution systems. Businesses are willing to sign long-term contracts with cooperatives and farmers to ensure stable output. However, farmers need to strictly adhere to safe production processes, control pesticide residue levels, and ensure traceability.
For logistics companies, coordinating the development of a cold chain supply, shortening transportation time from growing areas to factories and distribution systems, is particularly important in maintaining the quality of fresh fruit. Meanwhile, supermarkets and distributors need to prioritize display locations, enhance promotion, and implement demand-stimulating programs for local agricultural products.
In 2026 alone, Vifoco is committed to focusing its resources on purchasing lychee production from key growing areas in the province; and continuing to improve its modern canning, freezing, and packaging lines to preserve the distinctive flavor of Bac Ninh lychees when entering the international market.
Businesses also hope that the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments will continue to provide support in terms of capital mechanisms for temporary stockpiling, warehouse infrastructure, electricity, and enhanced trade promotion, expanding domestic and export markets.
Mr. Phan Van Net, Director of Phi Dien Agricultural Cooperative, Luc Ngan Commune: Taking quality and reputation as the foundation.

In the context of a market increasingly demanding high quality, traceability, and food safety, we have determined that to enhance the value of lychees, we must shift strongly from a production-oriented mindset to an agricultural economics mindset, with quality and reputation as the foundation for sustainable development.
In 2026, Phi Dien Agricultural Cooperative will continue to focus on stabilizing production area, improving quality, and expanding consumer markets. The cooperative will concentrate on maintaining production areas that meet the requirements for obtaining planting area codes, ensuring traceability and export standards.
Simultaneously, the cooperative is strengthening the application of science and technology in lychee cultivation, expanding production areas according to VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards to improve productivity, quality, and product design. One of the current key directions is to promote preliminary processing and deep processing, especially dried lychee products. This not only helps reduce the pressure on fresh fruit consumption during peak seasons but also extends shelf life, increases added value, and contributes to stabilizing output for lychee growers.
Besides production, the Cooperative also focuses on digital transformation by enhancing product promotion on e-commerce platforms, social media, and modern sales channels. At the same time, the Cooperative proactively controls the entire process from cultivation and harvesting to packaging and transportation to ensure product quality reaches consumers.
However, lychee production and consumption are still facing many difficulties such as unpredictable weather, rising costs of materials, labor, and transportation, while the requirements of the export market are becoming increasingly stringent.
Therefore, the Cooperative hopes to continue receiving support from all levels and sectors in trade promotion, brand building, and market expansion; while also strengthening connections with export businesses, distribution systems, and logistics units to form a sustainable supply chain.
With a development orientation towards professionalism, safety, and sustainability, Phi Dien Agricultural Cooperative is committed to continuously improving product quality and building the lychee brand to reach further in domestic and international markets.
