Assign 10,536.5 billion VND for component projects 1, 3, 5 of Gia Nghia

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned in detail 10,536.5 billion VND of the central budget public investment capital plan in 2025 to component projects 1, 3, 5. Specifically: Assigning capital of 8,770 billion VND from the central budget revenue increase in 2022 to component projects 1, 3, 5 of the North-South Expressway Construction Investment Project, Western section, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc). In which: Component project 1 with capital of 6,842 billion VND; Component project 3 with capital of 951 billion VND; Component project 5 with capital of 977 billion VND.

At the same time, allocate VND 1,766.5 billion from the central budget in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 to component project 5 (allocated from the increased central budget revenue in 2022 of VND 977 billion).

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the agency signing the contract for component project 1 (or the agency authorized by the Provincial People's Committee to sign the contract), the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor of component project 3, component project 5: Focus on specific solutions, promote compensation, support, and resettlement of the project; speed up the construction progress of works and projects. Select contractors and investors with sufficient technical, financial capacity and experience to implement the construction progress on schedule, ensure the quality of works, goods, and services; ensure publicity, transparency, and effective use of public investment capital. Urgently complete the dossiers of works and projects with accepted volumes, and immediately complete payment procedures with the State Treasury. Strive to disburse all allocated capital in 2025.

Specialized departments and relevant agencies, units and localities shall strengthen inspection, supervision and urging of project implementation; organize appraisal and approval of designs and estimates according to regulations; promptly resolve difficulties and problems in compensation, site clearance and resettlement.
