Hung Hoa Diocese wishes Happy New Year to the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee

Comrade Nguyen Hung Vuong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, delivered a speech at the reception for the delegation from the Hung Hoa Diocese who came to visit and extend New Year greetings to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

At the meeting, on behalf of the clergy, officials, and Catholic parishioners of the Hung Hoa Diocese, Bishop Hoang Minh Tien extended best wishes to the provincial leaders and people of Tuyen Quang on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year. The Bishop also expressed his joy that, thanks to the province's attention and support, the activities of the Hung Hoa Diocese in Tuyen Quang have proceeded smoothly. He affirmed that the diocese will continue to encourage its parishioners to live virtuous lives and contribute to the local development; and expressed his hope to continue receiving the attention and support of all levels and sectors in the province for the activities of the Hung Hoa Diocese and its parishioners in the province.

The leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee provided a brief update on the province's socio-economic development, political security, and social order and safety over the past year. They also affirmed that the achievements of the Provincial Fatherland Front in 2024 were the result of the collective efforts of the entire political system and all the people, including Catholic parishioners and dignitaries of the Hung Hoa Diocese.

2025 will be a year of many important political events for the province and the country, including the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress. Tuyen Quang province aims to eliminate over 6,900 temporary and dilapidated houses for policy beneficiary families, poor and near-poor households before September 2nd, 2025.

To contribute to the successful achievement of the set goals and tasks, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee hope that religious leaders and officials, with their prestige, will continue to care for the spiritual lives of the parishioners; actively propagate and encourage parishioners to uphold the spirit of "Reverence for God, love for the country," live "a good life and a virtuous life"; and actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, especially the nationwide emulation movement to "eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025. The comrade also extended best wishes to Bishop Hoang Minh Tien and the priests and parishioners of the Hung Hoa Diocese for a joyful and peaceful Lunar New Year 2025.
