Fantagio employees, teammates, and artists in the entertainment industry could not hide their shock upon hearing the bad news about singer Moonbin. Many people could not believe this was true.

On April 20, Korea Daily reported that management company Fantagio confirmed the passing of male singer Moonbin at the age of 25.

"We apologize for having to announce such sad and heartbreaking news at this time. Astro member Moonbin left us and became a shining star in the sky on April 19," Fantagio announced.

According to Fantagio, the board of directors, artists and staff of the company were shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of the young male idol. Many people still do not dare to believe this information.

According to Korean media, Astro members were shocked by Moonbin's passing. Singer Cha Eun Woo booked a flight from the US to Korea immediately after hearing the news of his teammate's death. Astro debuted in 2016, with 6 members. Up to now, they have been together for 7 years.

Mystic Story Entertainment announced that the group Billie will be canceling their schedule this week due to member Moon Sua. Moon Sua is Moonbin's younger sister. On the evening of April 19, Moon Sua was scheduled to appear on a radio show. However, she withdrew due to a family emergency.

Before his death, Moonbin was active as a member of the sub-unit Moonbin & Sanha. They began a tour through 8 Asian cities and 3 cities in South America in March. Moonbin was scheduled to perform in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 13. Late on April 19, Lumina Entertainment, the organizer of the concert, announced the cancellation of the event and apologized to fans.

On MBC news this morning, announcer Jang Seong Gyu shed tears when announcing Moonbin's death. "Moonbin had a bright appearance and a cheerful personality, I didn't know this sad thing would happen to him. I wish the deceased to rest in peace," Jang Seong Gyu expressed his sorrow.

JoongAng Ilbo reported that the Gangnam Police Station received a report of Moonbin's death on the evening of April 19. His body was discovered by his manager at his home. The police are still investigating further and waiting for the autopsy report to come to an accurate conclusion about the Korean idol's passing.

Nate said that Moonbin had health problems before he passed away. In early April, he suddenly felt dizzy and his health deteriorated before boarding a plane from Korea to Thailand to carry out a schedule.

According to the family's wishes, Moonbin's funeral will be held privately on April 22 at Asan Hospital, Seoul.
